Bio
I did my Ph.D. from the National Institute of Immunology, India. Early during my doctoral studies, I worked on the Dietary restrictions (DR) mediated lifespan extension. I have shown that DR improves proteostasis and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) health, giving longevity benefits through ER hormesis in C. elegans. For my Ph.D.thesis, I studied the role of Insulin signaling/FOXO in germline quality assurance, genome stability, and aging in Caenorhabditis elegans. Recently, I joined the Cecere laboratory at Pasteur to investigate the role of small RNA in transgenerational epigenetic memory transfer across generations.
